We had our annual Harward Family Easter Picnic.. its always fun. We all load on a Tractor/Trailor cruise up main street in Richfield.. getting LOTS of honks, waves, and stares of ALLL SORTS. People wonder what in the world we are doing. Grandpa Harward drives the tractor as FAST as it can go up the road with all of us BOUNCING along, holding on for dear life as he goes. I wonder if people think we are NUTS or if they are jealous because they want a cool tradition like ours. This tradition has been in place since my mom was tiny.. and she is...44.. i think. So thats quite the tradition. We go to the same place every year.. up in the mountains. The kids have a treasure hunt.. each group by age. There is always a prize at the end.. of course. We have a yummy dinner.. then its TO THE TOP OF THE HIGHEST HILL to roll easter eggs. What is this crazy thing you might ask? I have learned that it is a Harward tradition but we just roll the eggs down the hill.. the guys stand at the bottom and throw the eggs back up to be rolled down again. It really is a fun thing.. we look forward to it every year. I stole these pictures from Melissa and Racquel's blog. THANKS GUYS!!! I am getting more pic's from my mom (i forgot my camera on the trip).. so there arn't many of my kids.. but you can get the idea.. We also colored easter eggs at my mom's ... I don't have a lot of pic's yet either.. but I will get them.
