I can sew!!!

Some of you "Becky-Home-ec'ies" out there probably already know about this but...
A while back Tina (a good friend and fellow blogger) made a post about a great way to hem your jeans. I never even dare because A. I don't have the slightest clue how to even start and B. I hate the "hem" look... I just want the original stitching.. anyone else with me? So.. we either.. don't buy the pants... or wear them too long. But after seeing Tina's FABULOUS post **THANKS TINA** I am now a HEMMER!
Here is a link to the website that Tina had in her post. It gives you step by step instructions on how to do the perfect hem! CLICK HERE

Here is my first attempt... its NOT EVEN perfect.. but it still looks totally awesome!

You Rock! Okay - I used to just either a)not buy the pants (okay, who am I kidding - I've never done that!) or b)wore the pants too long. However, a couple of years ago I got sick of that and started having the store do it (Nordstroms always did an excellent job. The Buckle one time ruined a pair of new jeans 'cause of the whole flare thing. Anyway...) So, now that I can see how easy this is, I can start doing this myself and saving some money! Which, I can then buy more jeans with! :)

You know I need this. Every pair of pants I own are too long. I might just go through the closet now and see which ones I can sit down and make this work on.
Thanks
