A few sweet, funny, or naughty things.

I use to be so good at jotting down the funny, sweet or naughty things the kids would say. I am terrible now. I need to write these down while I am thinking about it.

Today (5/21/11) Brady went to a birthday party. When he got home I asked him how it went. B: "Everyone at the party had cake and ice cream but me." Me: "Why didn't you get any?" B: I told them I didn't want my sister to feel bad that I had cake and ice cream and she didn't, so I didn't have any." Oh my gosh! He's 3! Hannah would have had scarfed 3 pieces and rubbed it in his face that he didn't get any! HA! What a nice boy.

Yesterday Hannah and I were getting ready to go to Makenna's dance recital. We decided to make a girls night of it, and Jesse and the boy's would have a "boys night." Before we left (Brady was having a nap), and Hannah said, "What if Dad takes Brady to Chuck E. Cheese, or somewhere funner than a dance recital." I told her they probably wouldn't, but it wasn't our choice where they went. A little later Brady woke up and she said, "Brady, what would you do if Dad took you to Chuck E. Cheese?" He quickly responded, "I would tell dad we couldn't go because that would make you sad." Really? I love that kid.

The other day I stepped out of the shower and was getting dressed. Hannah came in and said, "Mom, your back is.................(Long Pause)............... NOT fat." Ummmmmmmmm...... how am I supposed to take that one? HA! Jesse and I laughed so hard. HILARIOUS!

Brady: "Mom, you look really beautiful with ALL your clothes on." Me: ".................. Oh, ..... thanks..?
