Welcome Home Eric!!!

My Cousin Eric has been in Iraq for the last year. He was able to come home today and we went to the airport to see him. What an amazing thing.. just to see all these families that have been without their loved ones for so long.. and then to see that amazing reunion. It was so fun to see the faces of Aubree and Holden (Eric's wife and little boy) as the plane pulled up and the soldiers started to walk off the plane. I think Holden was only about 6 months old when his dad left. They sure have a lot of catching up to do. I am so grateful for all those men and women who sacrifice for our freedom. I have to really hand it to Aubree and all the other wives.. and husbands to..who send soldiers out. They have no choice but to keep their chins up.. keep the kids going.. keep life going.. and be a HUGE support system for their soldiers. I know that that is not a trial that I was given because I honestly DON'T think that I could handle it! We are so glad that we went to share this awesome day with them. It is definetly an emotional, amazing experience to see those men and women step off of that plane to the awaiting family members.

Aubree and Holden... waiting to see dad!

After the airport.. we went to crackerbarrel for lunch.. this is a picture of Aubree and Holden, Grandpa Harward, Kale and Brady
