So here we go! These are all thoughts, things I have learned, goals, and dreaded tasks that I have had or done this week!

Anyone who knows me knows that I am ADDICTED to the grocery store! I love to grocery shop. I love Maceys! This is the only place I like to shop.. I love to take my kids with me, and I would LOVE to go there EVERY DAY! It has been this way for about.. ohhhh 4 years! Since before Hannah was born. I know this is crazy! We LOVE to go get an ice cream.. sometimes eat lunch and the barff deli! But its kind of a tradition. We even got Natalie hooked on the tradition.. for a little while I think. When we moved.. I thought the world might end.. because I wouldn't live by Macey's. About a month later.. LO AND BEHOLD.. it was as if the heaven's had opened! I found Macey's.. its only about 4 miles from my house!!! So the tradition continues!
As you read this.. you might think.. "so whats the big deal?" "You are a crazy lady who has an insane obsession with the grocery store.. so what!" Problem is.. that our average monthly grocery bill is 4-5 hundred dollars! For what? Who the "H" knows! I was talking to "a friend" one day.. (in case she prefers to stay nameless) and she said that she was quite irritated because she just spend 200 dollars at the grocery store.. and she hadn't been grocery shopping in over a month!! I was like... hmm.. I wonder if she bought anything to eat! HA! Sooo the next month I tried my hardest and had it down to like.. 275! Making progress.. but then at the end of the month I think I went and spent like.. 75 more.. so that didn't work so well. ANYWAY.. the point of all this rambling is.. our freezers are PACKED!! The inside one.. and our deep freeze.. with WHO knows what!! So I have made a promise to my dear husband that I will NOT go grocery shopping.. unless its a super necessity.. like.. MILK.. or a soft serve ice cream ;) for one month! And we will eat everything out of or freezers! I told him it would be mighty piece together meals.. but we don't care! I have got to get a hold of this problem!! HA!!! So I will report in a month and let you know how this is going!
Next confession!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Shark steam cleaner!! For anyone who hates to clean.. I suggest you invest! I borrowed my mom's a month and a half ago or so... and probably once a week I bust that thing out for something. It is AMAZING on floors... tile, travertine, wood.. I use it on it all! I have cleaned walls, tubs, grout, windows, ohh you name it and it does it. Its so fun! Definetly my latest "love".
I hate my kitchen floor. If I had it my way I would tear it up! It is beautiful, dark 12x12 travertine, tile maybe.. who knows. It shows EVERYTHING!!! But I honestly sweep at least 2 times a day. I have to mop 3 or 4 times a week.. (thankful for the steam cleaner!) It has deep grout, therefore is constantly filled with sticky fruit snacks, spilled milk, juice, sticky slobber.. you name it. So its not just a quick mop job, its a hand and knees scrub the grout mop job. Grr!! You can tell what I have been doing today!
While we are on the topic of my dreaded floor.. LOVE, LOVE the swiffer wet jet and swiffer vac! LOVE THEM! It totally ruins my day when I go to the closet to find that the previous time that ol' swiffy was out sucking up cracker crumbs that I didn't plug him back in.. and now is battery is dead. Thank goodness for the broom I suppose... but what fun is that!
No matter how many times I clean the toy room.. it still looks as if a tornado has hit our home.. 30 minutes later.. its a never ending project.. I give up! I have been cleaning it for the past 3 days (which is a weekly occurance).. and its still not done.
I do NOT know how to sew! Although I pretend.. I don't! I am trying to make a baby blanket for my sis in law's shower. Its those oh so cute, little square, frayed ones. I have made several before.. they end up being SOOO adorable!! But ohhh are they a headache. I don't think its the making of the blanket itself.. its me!
I hate doing laundry!
A dust buster that gets thrown down the stairs ends up breaking open spilling the nasty contents inside ALLLL over your house!
A bottle of peaches that gets dropped onto the hard tile does not give you JUST 2 or 3 large pieces to pick up. It doesn't give you just 20 or 30 medium sized pieces to pick up. It gives you about 60,000 tiny slivers of glass for about 10 feet from the scene of the crime!
Do NOT feed stray cats! They will NOT leave! Actually.. this stray cat is not really so stray. He is a well groomed, over fed, lovable cat with a collar. Someone is really missing him.. and I would love to find his home. But he became my problem when I fed him. Now... HIS name is Belle and he thinks he lives here.
I think that this is it for "Confessions of this crazy mom!" Stay tuned next week to see what crazy adventures I seem to get myself into.
