Trips to Richfield

The kids and I went to Richfield for a few days the first part of October. We had SOO much fun! My mom and Dad were on a cruise so we went to hang out with Kadie... Hannah says we went to "babysit" Kadie.. as 18 as she may be ;) She still needs a babysitter! We went and picked out some pumpkins, and carved them, played games, were LAZY a lot!! We had a blast! Brady was so funny with Jake, the dog! Jake is as easy going and loving as anything you have ever seen. He just wanted to play with Brady, but Brady wasn't so sure.







Brady and Jake sat nose to nose at the back door.. just staring at eachother for the longest time. Jake was really wanting Brady to come outside.. and Brady was really hoping that there was NO way Jake could get thru that door!

And we had our first little snowfall experience.. it was quite "little" but for the first of October.. it was sure something!


We headed down the next weekend as well for my dad's retirement party. There were about 170 people there. It was way fun to see the support for my dad. He's only 45.. way to young to retire.. so we will see what he finds to keep him busy!

We also went to a pumpkin patch. They had a hayride, train rides, and LOTS of pumpkins to choose from!
