Cute Boy!

This ADORABLE little fart has got to be the most hilarious little guy I have ever met. Where he gets his personality is beyond me! Everyone always teases that he must be the mail man's kid because he looks NOTHING like Jesse. He is sooo light skinned and such blonde/white hair and big blue eyes.. COMPLETELY opposite of Jesse.. so maybe thats where he got his personality... The mail man. To bad our mail man is a woman.. So maybe the ice cream man!
He is 18 months next month. No more baby! But I think he will always be a baby to me. I have noticed that I was kind of in a hurry for Hannah to grow up.. not sure why... I kind of regret that now.. but as for Brady.. it seems like I try to make him be more of a Baby than he really is. He has figured out that he is a big boy.. and does NOT stand for the baby stuff. Just before Thanksgiving (15 months) we gave up the bottle.. that was rough on me.. he didn't even seem to notice. A few months ago he learned how to climb up onto the counters.. table.. piano.. you name it.. he can do it. GRRR! One day I heard this blood curdling scream.. I ran upstairs and he had climbed into the bathroom sink (clothes on) and turned on the hot water. The night before I had asked Jesse to turn the water heater up a tiny bit.. so the water was HOT! Poor guy! It still didn't make him learn his lesson. Poor boy!
He LOVES, LOVES, LOVES to bug his sister! Ohhh it makes me NUTS!! Every chance he gets he is pinching, biting, pulling hair, scratching. I'm not sure what to do. Going to the grocery store with both of them has turned into a nightmare lately. They both want to "drive the car" (carts).. but to put both of them in there is a disaster! The other day he was just biting and scratching at her the whole time. She was in tears.. neither one of them would get out of the cart.. He was in tears because it was all so crazy.. and I was getting mad at him.. I just stopped the cart and just laughed. People around us were probably wondering what in the world was going on. OHHH what fun!

It seems like we can't quite keep him healthy. He seems to pick up on ANY bug there is around. Its getting quite OLD! The picture below.. which is REALLLY quite graphic... but for journal sake.. i'm putting it on here.. SORRY for the weak stomach... but he started with an ear infection yesterday. He has tubes, so any ear infection just drains out.. right? Kind of a gross thing. Well this morning this is what his ear looked like when he woke up...

Yes.. thats blood! NASTY! So we spent the morning at the Dr. office. Turns out it is just a NASTY, ear infection. They had to strap his head down and 2 nurses and I held his body, and they suctioned his ear out. PRETTY SAD.. and nasty! But he is fine!

He is the biggest Mama's boy every! It is making me NUTS!! He wants to be attached to my hip 24/7. I try different things to try and break this habbit... but nothing is working. I didn't have this problem with Hannah but I left her every day to go to work... do it wasn't a big deal to her... so thats our challenge this week.
He has the funniest "High-5" he does. He High 5's EVERYONE! Hannah will be crying and he tries to give her High-5. He walks up to strangers and gives them high 5. I tried to get a pic of him doing it.. but this is all I could get... His little pinky and ring finger are kind of curled up a big. But it is so funny.. he does it to everyone. I guess its just his little thing.

He will pretty much say anything.. but you have to ask him. He is quite content to not talk.. he just grunts and screams... and if he needs something he grabs your hand and drags you to it. He has the funniest personality... and the funniest little cheese smile. He LOVES balls and bats. He says "baseball" all day. He will use anything as a bat and ball. I don't remember if I already posted this, but one day he had a stick and a golf ball as his bat and ball, and another day he had an apple and a toothbrush. He LIVES for baseball and basketball.. sure does make his dad proud! He loves to color... he finds that doors and walls make GREAT canvas's!
He only loves nursery if you stay in there with him. It is SOO opposite of Hannah.. so thats a new thing. Hannah started asking if she could go to nursery monday mornings and asked every day until it was sunday. He LOVES his Papa's. He talks to his Papa's on the toy phones every other hour. He LOVES to read books. That is my frustration lately. I am SOOO glad that he loves to read.. but he wants to read books ALLLL day long. We read at least 10-15 books a day.. sometimes its the same book 10-15 times. He LOVES his blankies. He doesn't care which one it is.. but he likes to have the same one all day.. then the next day he will switch. Somedays its 5 blankies he wants all at the same time. Its funny. He LOVES his thumb.. bad habbit! He is kind of a picky eater. He has a texture problem.. so soft gooey things don't go over so well. His favorite food at the moment is rice chex. He loves his shoes. He LOVES his dad!
This next picture is a picture of him and Hannah waiting for Jesse to come home. He had been out of town for a couple days. I told the kids that he should be home any time and they both insisted that they wait right here on the garage steps for him to come home.. it was like 15 min.
Both of them can't wait for him to come home. He just brings a whole different atmosphere home with him. Its all wrestling, giggles, and silliness when dad is home. Mom is just BORING!



He is SOOO loving.. in the moments when he's not bullying! He is always wanting to hug and kiss hannah.. once again.. when he's not bullying! I guess he's making up for being naughty!

I think thats all about him right now. He is such a character! Keeps us laughing alll the time! What a fun kid!! We are SOOo blessed to have him in our family!
