What a "crappy" day... really!

So today has quite eventful.. to say the least! So this whole week my poor Brady has had the runs... ;) Why? Who knows. No fever, no grumpiness, no other symptoms.. just the runs.... like 4-6 yucky diapers a day. This morning, first thing.. messy diaper. I immediately just stripped him down and put him in the my tub. After a few minutes I heard him make a funny little noise, and instantly I knew what was going on!!! Yikes.. a nasty mess in the tub! I grabbed him and ran him to the toilet.. thought he was done.. so ran him into the other bathroom to put him in the other tub so I could start cleaning up the mess. Not realizing that My pants were COVERED.. I ran down the stairs to get cleaning supplies and a garbage sack. As I got to the kitchen I noticed a nice trail of... STUFF.. I had tracked it allll over the place! I went back upstairs to find everything COVERED! It was quite NASTY!
After that mess was cleaned up we played around the house a little then headed to Pleasant Grove to take my friend Natalie's family pictures. If any of you know Natalie and want to see a few of her OHHH SO CUTE pic's... CLICK HERE
Someday I really really want to be a real photographer.. and not just a here and there wanna-be!! One more thing I guess.. who has time!
So on our way down to PG.. before the pictures.. the gas light in the outlook came on. We were only about 5 minutes from home.. with 25 more to go. I thought.. OHHHH we are fine! So we get to PG.. play around there a little while.. then when it is time to head home I pulled into a gas station... The Flying J station in Macey's parking lot. I get out to start to fill up and realized that I left my wallet at home! GRRRR! Well Jess is realllly good at making sure that I always keep extra cash and an extra credit card HIDDING in the car.. yes.. for emergencies.. like this one! Welll.. I guess I had an emergency.. like I needed a Dr. Pepper and such one day ;) and I used the cash! So I grabbed the card and went to swipe it. Well.. it has probably been over a year since we have used that card.. and the card didn't work! I'm sure since it has been so long.. they probably thought someone had stolen it.. and was trying to use it. So.. I dig thru the car and find a check book. I jumped back in the car and headed to the next gas station which is across the street. I run in to make sure they take a check... WITH NO ID.. and of course they say no! I am a nerd and decided to go the a gas station that was up the freeway a little bit. At the first gas station I was only a mile away from Racquel's house.. and the smart thing to do would have been to go to her house and borrow some cash.. right? Yes.. but because I like to do things the hard way.. I didn't! ;)
We went up the freeway to the next gas.. which I remembered took checks from a previous visit.. PROBABLY A VISIT THAT I HAD FORGOTTEN MY WALLET...;). I ran into ask them if they take checks... NO! So I dug thru the car.. wondering how in the world I was going to get my little family home.. I found $6.50 in CHANGE.. bought some gas.. and luckily we made it home! I know.. all of you reading this are thinking.. there are 100000 family and friends who lived right around the corner.. why didn't I call.. WHO KNOWS! I suppose I just like to do things the hard way! Ohhh but then I wouldn't have dumb stories to tell!

LOL, I had a similar experience w/Eden. I was all ready for church and so was she I picked her up and got "stuff" all over the front of me . . . of course I didn't almost run out of gas later that day, I was just late for church -- really late!
