The Peace of Mind

I just added a button to my side bar for "The Peace of Mind Fund". About a year ago a friend of mine (and a friend of quite a few of my "blog followers" ) lost her sweet baby boy ONE day before her scheduled c-section. The cord was wrapped around his neck 6 times! Although I did not make it even as close as Natalie did, I do know that feeling, the feeling of emptiness, and the feeling heartache of losing a baby. After losing 2, (although very early on)I understand that there is an emptiness that can't be filled. I will forever be grateful for modern medicine, and for the wonderful technology that we have now that helped get my sweet Brady here, happy and healthy! Natalie is now pregnant with a baby girl. Another thing that I also understand is the sheer terror of "what is to come" with having another baby. The thought of having another baby scares me to death because I am unsure of what is to come. Natalie is in the same situation. She is now pregnant with a baby girl! I know that she lives in constant fear of having to go through the same thing she went through before. She has found a Dr. in Louisiana who specializes in cases just like hers. One of her friends set up a blog in her honor for people to learn of her situation, learn about the amazing technology out there for people who have had a similar situation, and to donate to her cause if possible. If she can get to Louisiana to meet with this Dr. she can get special equipment to monitor her baby at home, and to try to prevent anything like this from happening again. Take a minute to look at this blog (top right), and to learn of her story. It is absolutely heart touching.

Thank you so so much for your post. Wow that was hard to read especially being pregnant and emotional already but thank you for letting us be apart of those emotions and the amazing journey of having the gift of their sweet baby boy. The gospel is so amazing and we are so grateful for the knowledge that families can be together forever!!!
