DISNEYLAND!!!!.. and our other great adventures in California

After Colby came home we made the long haul to Disneyland. Actually .. it wasn't such a long haul.. getting there was super quick! Thank goodness for air travel. Hannah, Colby, Chase and Ann flew to Las Vegas, picked Grandma and Grandpa Welch and then took off to California in the MOTORHOME! Hannah had a blast. It actually took them a bit longer than they expected due to some mechanical problems.. not really problems.. just precautions. Jesse, Brady and I headed out the next day and flew right to California.. and met them there. Vaun was already there for work, picked us up from the airport and we met them at our hotel. I wish I would have taken a picture but our hotel was right on the beach. We had a little balcony on our room and you could sit out there and watch the waves.. and crazy people at the beach. The first day we just hung out in the pool, the beach and went to dinner.








The second day we went to Disneyland. Hannah loved it.





She was getting a little irritable after the first little bit because we hadn't seen a princess .. and I didn't even know where to begin looking for a princess. I had never been there.. so we just tagged along. After a while.. I told Jesse... I have GOT to go find a princess... because thats all we had talked about for months. By that time Hannah was already ready for a nap.. and wasn't so thrilled. As we walked along trying to find the characters we passed snowwhite.. but Hannah was looking the other direction and missed her. She was now getting excited that we were in the right spot. We decided to take a break and sit in the shade for a minute. We went down to the little ampatheater where they were had coloring pages, and crowns to make. That was just the ticket for the moment. We colored for a minute and then walked down into the ampatheater to look around. All of the sudden little... elf men started setting mats on the floor and announced that a princess would be in shortly to tell a story!!! OHHHHHHHH there was the magic in Hannah's eyes that I had been waiting for... so we sat on a mat.. in the first row. We watched and waited... and out came BELLE!!!! One of Hannah's favorites!!!



We walked around ALOT, watched alot of people, rode a bunch of rides.. and just had a blast. We had hopper passes to go back and forth from Disneyland and California adventure. Both places were way fun! Hannah rode her first real rollercoaster.. i'm still not sure if she liked it. The best part about the whole entire day was the Parade. That was the most magical thing for Hannah. Brady love it too!

We also went to a water park in California. It was HUGE!!! A raging waters time 3!
The kids had a blast... as did we!
